POSITION: BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
HOURS: Full - Time, Flexible hours
EDUCATION: AAS Degree in Applied Science - Electronics required
DESCRIPTION: BioMed Tech is required to repair, maintain & calibrate wiDe variety of medical devices. Position requires thorough understanding of modern medical devices as they apply to the clinical setting. Tech must understand and operate electronics test equipment, and specialized medical device testing equipment. Have knowledge and experience with medical device documentation procedures as they apply to JCAHO requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years experience as a BioMedical Equipment Technician in a clinical setting. Will train recent graduates. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
