POSITION: CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST

HOURS: Temporary 0.5 FTE ( 2 positions available), Flexible hours, ( Must be available to work all three shift and weekends as needed)

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required, Professional certification in current speciaty preferred.

JOB SUMMARY: This individual assists with the implementation of hospital-wide multi-disciplinary clinical information systems by training end user on a variety of software applications. (i.e. electronic bedside documentation, medication administration applications, patient portals, etc.). Responsibilities include facilitating training classes prior to "live" implementation as well as real-time support during the "go-live" roll-out of systems on the clinical units.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical area in a hospital. Demonstrated interest in informatics. Intermediate user of all Microsoft Office applications.
