Physical Therapy
POSITION: PHYSICAL THERAPIST
HOURS: PER DIEM
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
DESCRIPTION: The Physical Therapist is primarily responsible for administrating direct inpatient acute Physical Therapy weekdays, weekends and occasional holidays in accordance with the referring physician's prescription. The Physical Therapist will design custom treatment programs with specific short and long term goals, maintain accurate observations and complete documentation as to patient status and tolerance, demonstrate the ability to modify treatment programs as needed, participate in interdisciplinary rounds and family conferences, exhibit superior service excellence skills and communication.
REQUIREMENTS: BS degree in PT from and accredited university. Current license in the state of New York. One year minimum healthcare setting required.
