As an experienced perioperative nurse at Huntington Hospital, Judy has worked in many areas including 18 years in the operating room and 10 years in the endoscopy unit.

Since her certification as a holistic nurse, Judy has promoted the philosophy of Holism, which focuses on the ways to integrate the mind, body and spirit into nursing interventions in clinical settings.

She has written numerous articles about Holistic Nursing and facilitated "Healing Circles" for her colleagues and wellness promotion programs for patient support groups.

She welcomes the opportunity to present this innovative program in preparation for surgery, medical procedures or to lessen the side effects of chemotherapy. It combines the best practices of mainstream medicine with the healing power of the human spirit.
