4th Floor Perioperative
Unit

The nurses’ in the Ambulatory Unit are very
experienced, warm and friendly. They welcome
the opportunity to meet and care for the patients in
the community. The attentive professional staff
is trained to ease your concerns and keep you, as well
as those accompanying you, informed every step of the
way. This new, 29-bed unit was built (along with
a new Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit and Operating Rooms-all
on the same floor) to ensure the utmost in comfort
and privacy and to meet all your needs. From
the beautiful artwork, to the calming blue colors that
surround you, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Our
comfortable, modern surgical waiting area is equipped
with amenities for families such as coffee, TV, internet
access and surgical pagers to allow family to leave
the area for short periods of time and not miss the
physician’s call/visit. The hospital’s
Park View Café is open for breakfast, lunch
and dinner.

With so many people pressured for time, it is important
that both the surgery and the recovery period proceed
smoothly and efficiently. Our goal is to return
patients to their normal activities and schedules as
soon as possible.
