Nurses provide high quality care to both well newborns
in the Nursery and high-risk infants in our Special
Care Nursery where state-of-the-art physiologic monitors
are used. A neonatologist is on call and in-house 24
hours per day providing support to the nurses who are
also offered the opportunity to cross-train in mother-baby
care. Neonatal Resuscitation certification review classes
are offered on an annual basis and continuing education
opportunities are offered monthly.
