LOOK GOOD . . . FEEL BETTER
Look Good . . . Feel Better is a program sponsored
by the
American Cancer Society for women undergoing or
about to undergo cancer treatment. |

A licensed cosmetologist will help
women improve their
appearance and self image by showing them hands-on
beauty techniques to overcome any possible
appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy
or
radiation treatment. Each participant will receive
cosmetics, compliments of the Cosmetic, Toiletry,
and
Fragrance Association. Women are also given
information on improving their appearance through
the
use of wigs, scarves, and hats. |
